Ballade Hollandaise

Amicale Avantime is an international association with members from the Netherlands, among others.
Among them, Fred and Sari who offered us to discover Amsterdam and its surroundings in an unusual way.

So it was the weekend of the climb that more than 40 French and Dutch crews met at De Rijp in the north of Amsterdam.

The festivities begin on Thursday evening with a warm welcome at the hotel.
Friday morning from 7:30 am, direction Amsterdam by bus of collection, for a ballad in fly boat on the numerous channels of the city.
After a lunch at the restaurant "in de Waag", we walk to the Van Gogh museum. It follows a walk always by foot to the wooden church "Amstelkerk" where the brother of Sari will play the organ.
At the end, we reach freely the central station where we will dine at the restaurant "1er klass".

Saturday, en route this time with our Avantime to the city of Blokker for a ride by steam train. At the end of the trip, we find our buses that take us back to the departure station. After a Dutch brunch, head to the peninsula of Marken for a walk in this postcard setting!

The day ends at the "Nadorst" restaurant in Blokker.

It is full of memories and happy moments spent together in this beautiful country that we will leave the next morning.
