Organized by Jacques and Sylvie, the "Pierre et Vignobles en Bordelais" outing introduced us to Bordeaux and its region.
Saturday, October 24th
Saturday, after a lunch at our hosts', an appointment is taken on the outskirts of Bordeaux to park the cars. We go to Bordeaux by tramway to visit the city with guides and a tour of the historic centre by small train.
The day ends in a gourmet restaurant in Ambarès-et-Lagrave.
Sunday, October 25
Sunday, direction Saint-Emilion to spend the day on site. We start by visiting the city, especially the underground areas that are not open to the public.
We continue with the tour of the vineyards by small train. After the detailed discovery of the Château Haut-Veyrac estate, we have lunch on site with a typical local meal.
